At Tall Peaks, we believe that the best view comes after the hardest climb—but it doesn’t have to be fast, fancy, or flawless. Whether you're a
weekend wanderer, a car-camping queen, an Oscar award winning overlander, a hammock-swinging philosopher, or just here for the campfire snacks,
there's a place for you on the trail with us.
We’re Lorna and Connor—two tall humans with even taller love for the great outdoors.
Our mission: To make hiking, camping, overlanding and paddling feel less intimidating and more like a good time with old friends.
We're here for the deep breaths, the muddy boots, the trailhead giggles, and the quiet moments under a canopy of stars.
No egos. No pressure. Just nature, community, and a whole lot of coffee brewed on a camp stove.
Hike. Camp. Paddle. Repeat.
Come as you are—let’s thrive outside together.
By day she's a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a trail-trekking, Bronco-driving, animal-loving adventurer the rest of the time. Standing at 5'9" with a heart as big as her book collection, she’s a proud dog mom, cat snuggler, and horse wrangler who knows how to find magic in both quiet moments and muddy boots.
She’s a lifelong lover of wildlife, Harry Potter, and The Grinch (she relates deeply to both personal growth and yelling from mountaintops). In October 2024, she married her best friend and together they cruise the wild roads in their ruby red Bronco, affectionately named Lucy.
Whether she’s guiding others with compassion or exploring the great outdoors, Connor brings wisdom, wit, and just the right amount of wilderness flair.
At 6'3", I'm easy to spot on a trail—and even easier to find when there's a mountain view involved. I discovered my love for hiking as an empty nester and haven’t looked back (unless there’s a bear... then I’m absolutely looking back). The great outdoors is my happy place, and my playground, peace, and therapy wrapped into one.
Married for 38 years to my best friend, I’m a proud mom, delighted mother-in-law, and smitten nana. I share life with my husband, two oversized dogs, Lou—my Incredible Hulk green Ford Bronco who’s always ready to rumble down a dusty road like a beast on a mission and one oversized love for all things wild and scenic.
If it involves campfires, dirt roads, or wagging tails—I’m in. Let’s hike, laugh, and maybe get a little lost (the fun kind, not the "call Search & Rescue" kind).
